What is it, and why?

I’ve always loved analogue tools. They encourage play in my design process, while still working within realistic framing constraints.

For years, I used drawing templates originally made for architects and engineers. I kept borrowing the same circles, boxes, ratios and symbols to sketch social layouts, logo ideas, motion frames, and they worked, but they weren’t made for modern-day creatives.

So I made one that was. A compact, pocket-sized drawing template for graphic designers and creatives, cut from 1mm recycled PET and designed to live inside your sketchbook. It helps structure the early paper phase of your process:
